PC & Setup

The rig behindthe screams.

People ask about my gear all the time, so here's the whole rundown: the dual-PC build, the streaming setup, and how it all came together. Nothing here happened overnight.

Full itemized lists (with everything I use, past and present) live in my storefronts, linked at the bottom. This is the highlight reel.

My streaming battlestation: a five-monitor layout with a central curved gaming monitor, stream dashboards, two Stream Decks, an audio mixer, and gaming peripherals on an L-shaped desk.
Home base. Five monitors, two PCs, and enough dashboards to keep the chaos organized.
How we got here

Started small, built up

I didn't start with any of this. If you're just getting going with a webcam held together by hope, I've been there. Here's the actual path.

The beginning

Just a PS4

No mic, no webcam, no overlays. Just me streaming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag straight off a PlayStation 4, learning as I went.

Leveling up

Into VR

Added the PSVR headset and leaned into horror in virtual reality, screaming my way through Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and scaring myself silly on camera.

Going PC

Single-PC streamer

Made the jump to a proper PC setup. One machine doing everything: gaming and streaming at once, pushing it as hard as it would go.

Now

Full dual-PC build

Two dedicated machines, one for gaming and one for streaming. A massive jump in quality and reliability, and the setup I run today.

If you're starting on a console with no gear, you're not behind. You're exactly where I started.
The muscle

Game PC

The machine that actually runs the games. Built to push horror and variety titles at high settings without breaking a sweat, so the scares hit the way they're meant to.

The workhorse

Stream PC

A second machine dedicated entirely to streaming. It handles all the encoding and broadcasting, which frees the game PC to focus purely on the game. The whole reason a dual-PC setup looks and runs so much cleaner.

The signature stuff

Streaming gear

The pieces people ask about most: cameras, lights, mics, and the little control decks that keep everything running while I'm screaming at a monitor.

Camera & light

Elgato Facecam for the face, lit by an Elgato Key Light Air. Clean, consistent, and flattering even when I'm mid-jumpscare.

Stream mic

Elgato Wave DX XLR mic on an Elgato Wave Mic Arm Pro, dialed in for the best possible voice quality on stream.

Game-PC mic

A Blue Snowball desk mic on the game PC, handling in-game voice chat separately from the main stream audio.

Control decks

Two of them: an Elgato Stream Deck XL and a Stream Deck MK.2, running scenes, sounds, and redemptions on the fly.

Capture

An Elgato HD60 X passes the game PC's output over to the stream PC. The bridge that makes the dual-PC setup work.

The throne

A Secretlab Titan Evo XL. The chair that keeps me going through those marathon horror sessions.

The five-monitor layout

Five screens keep the game, the stream dashboards, chat, and everything else in view at once.

165Hz. Main gameplay screen.

Lenovo ThinkVision (x2)
